I am petitioning for my candidate statement in the Oregon Voter’s Pamphlet for this 2010 General Election. We need to get 300 signatures by Aug. 24th, 2010. I bet each and every Oregonian following this list can easily find 10 family members, friends and neighbors to sign the petition. It’ll be easy and fun!

CLICK HERE TO VIEW FULL PETITION INSTRUCTIONS

Here is quick info from page one of the petition:

Write the petition ID number provided by the Elections Division in the field in the upper right corner of the petition signature sheet

Attach a copy of the statement to each petition signature sheet and circulate for signatures. No more than five signature sheets

may be attached to any one copy of the statement

Guidelines for Circulation of Petition (ORS 260.555, 260.560)

Petition Circulator

Must ensure all active registered voters who sign a single signature sheet are residents of the same county

Must personally sign their legal signature on the petition circulator’s certification

Must provide the date when the certification was signed and must not collect any other signatures on that sheet

Person Who Signs Petition

Must be an active registered voter in the State of Oregon at the time of signing the petition

Must be registered to vote in the same county as the other signers of a single signature sheet

If you have any questions, call the Secretary of State, Elections Division at 503.986.1518

I have already filled out most of the form for anyone ready to participate. You’ll still need to fill out the county and the required info at the bottom. The forms can be downloaded here:
